LevelUp Day 2026: The HighLevel Updates Every Agency Should Know
HighLevel just held LevelUp Day 2026, and it was huge. HighLevel says it shipped 300+ new releases, and the official recap calls this the arrival of "truly autonomous and interconnected systems." If you run an agency, that means new things to sell, new ways to save time and a lot of new features your clients will ask about.
We read the full announcement so you don't have to. Below is a plain-English breakdown of the biggest LevelUp 2026 updates, grouped by theme, with what each one means for your agency. You can read HighLevel's complete list here: LevelUp Day 2026: The Next Evolution of HighLevel Features and Enhancements.
1. AI Agents That Do Real Work
Managed Agents got the biggest upgrade of the event. Here is what's new:
- Computer capabilities. Managed Agents can now use a dedicated computer environment to browse websites, manage files and run terminal scripts. Strict "Ask Before" approvals are required before an agent submits forms, makes payments, publishes content or exports data. Each agent now gets its own isolated machine and can run 8 to 10 browser tabs in parallel.
- Memory and learned procedures. Agents remember user preferences and save completed task steps as reusable procedures, with a Memory tab where you can view, edit or delete what they learned.
- Waits and scheduled follow-ups. Agents can pause for minutes, hours or days and pick back up with full context, and they adjust automatically if an appointment moves.
- Inbound webhooks, subagents and n8n import. Trigger agents from Make, Zapier, Shopify or custom code, let a main agent hand tasks to subagents, and convert n8n workflow exports into Managed Agents.
What it means for agencies: you can now package "AI employees" that handle multi-step jobs for clients, not just chatbots that answer questions. Agents that use custom values and business details also mean one template can work across many sub-accounts.
2. Conversation AI and Voice AI Get Smarter
- Flow-based builder for Conversation AI, with a visual canvas, specialized agents, branching, waits and bot transfers.
- Outbound AI Agents that start conversations from CRM triggers like form submissions, missed calls or stage changes, plus AI Campaigns for database reactivation and bulk AI outreach.
- MCP support so Conversation AI bots can use 40+ ready-made catalog apps or custom MCP servers mid-conversation, and speech-to-speech Voice AI agents can call tools from apps like Google Calendar or Stripe live on a call.
- Voice AI on WhatsApp calls, agent versioning with draft testing and rollback, and cloning Voice AI agents to multiple sub-accounts at once.
- Agent Health and Self Healing, which reviews real calls and chats and proposes an improved prompt for your approval.
What it means for agencies: database reactivation and outbound follow-up are easy offers to sell. Cloning and versioning make it much safer to roll out the same agent to every client.
3. Ask AI Becomes Your Assistant Everywhere
- Cloud-based computer workspace with a Chrome browser, terminal and Files app, so Ask AI can work on sites without APIs while you watch a live preview.
- Document generation for PDFs, Word files, Excel spreadsheets and presentations based on your brand guidelines.
- Project workspaces that keep conversations, files and instructions together.
- Phone and SMS Dispatch so you can talk to Ask AI by call or text, plus voice dictation and two-way voice on mobile.
- Agency access controls with a permission matrix for which skills each user can run.
What it means for agencies: your team and your clients can get work done from a phone. The permission matrix lets you give clients Ask AI without handing over the keys to payments or CRM edits.
4. Client Portal and Branded Apps Built by AI
- Client Portal AI App Builder. Describe the look and structure you want, and AI updates colors, typography, logos and navigation across web and mobile, then publishes both from one place.
- AI-designed portal pages for courses, communities and shared files, published across up to ten custom domains, with member submissions saved as custom CRM objects.
- Discover storefront where learners browse, filter and buy your courses, offers and communities.
- Service booking inside the portal, and an AI review for branded mobile app submissions that cuts review time from days to seconds.
What it means for agencies: a branded client experience used to take a developer. Now it takes a conversation, which makes branded portals and apps a realistic upsell for almost any client.
5. Courses, Communities and Meeting Room
- Course AI (beta) builds structured courses from a prompt or reference material, generating modules, lesson copy, quizzes and thumbnails. New video uploads can auto-fill lesson descriptions, draft quiz questions and a PDF recap from the transcript.
- Video analytics and AI insights for course videos, including retention heatmaps and drop-off points.
- Communities now support multiple pricing plans, premium channel visibility controls, automated milestone badges and automated welcome messages.
- Meeting Room, a native video conferencing workspace with recordings, speaker-labeled transcripts, AI summaries and breakout rooms for up to 100 groups.
What it means for agencies: clients who sell knowledge can launch faster and keep members engaged, all inside HighLevel.
6. Workflows and Automation
- Workflow Maps to view a contact's journey across workflows, find and troubleshoot errors and see linked workflows together.
- A/B testing across up to 10 paths, with automatic routing to the winner.
- Loop and Router actions, an AI agent skills library and testing directly from the AI Builder.
- New triggers for Google Sheets, Slack, Social Planner posts, ecommerce product views and add to cart, and Project Management tasks.
What it means for agencies: big client accounts get easier to manage and debug, and A/B testing gives you proof of results to show clients.
7. Email, Social and Ads
- Email: a pre-send spam check, automated domain warm-up (private beta), Inbox Preview for Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail, an AI editor with sequence generation and AI A/B testing, and email verification during contact import.
- Social Planner: invite links so clients can connect their own social accounts, unified Facebook and Instagram connection, social comments in the Conversations inbox and Social Intelligence monitoring (limited beta).
- Ad Manager: TikTok lead generation campaigns and two-way sync with Meta Ads.
What it means for agencies: better deliverability and less onboarding back-and-forth. Client social account invites alone will save hours.
8. Agency Operations and More
- Agency Trust Center to manage A2P 10DLC registrations across all sub-accounts.
- Bulk Reviews AI management across sub-accounts from the Agency AI Suite.
- Snapshots that automatically include dependent workflows and email templates.
- AI Search Visibility scoring (out of 100) in Marketing Audit Reports, a strong prospecting tool.
- Opportunities upgrades (mostly private beta), including a sidebar workspace, deals without contacts and custom associations.
- Plus ecommerce upgrades, redesigned order forms, App Studio for building Marketplace apps, Loyalty and Referral (private beta) and HighLevel for Restaurants (private beta).
